Protecting Your Rights in Background Screening
At S2Verify, we believe in transparency and fairness in the background screening process. If you have undergone a background check through our services, you have the right to access your report, dispute inaccuracies, and understand the laws that protect you.
Understanding Your Background Screening Report
Your background screening report provides important details about your history that employers may review as part of their hiring process. It is essential to understand what information is included, how it is gathered, and how it may impact employment decisions. S2Verify ensures that all background checks comply with industry regulations and legal requirements, helping to maintain fairness and accuracy.
If you have questions about your background screening report or need assistance interpreting it, our support team is here to help.
Ensuring Accuracy and Compliance
At S2Verify, accuracy and compliance are our top priorities. We adhere to the highest industry standards, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), to ensure that background screening reports are reliable and fair. Our thorough quality control process helps prevent errors and ensures all reported information is up-to-date and legally compliant.
If you believe any part of your report is inaccurate, you can dispute the information via telephone, email, or writing within 30 days of report generation. S2Verify will investigate the accuracy of the information and make any corrections that are found as quickly as possible but no more than 30 days after we are contacted.
Please be aware that you may dispute the information contained in a record. However, S2Verify is not required to remove accurate derogatory information from your file unless the information is outdated under section 1681c of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
